Our message to our team

From our co-founders Shaival Shah and Jian Wei Gan.

It’s been a very painful and tragic week. Our hearts break over the senseless deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and the many others whose lives have been cut short by racist violence.

We stand in solidarity with the Black community — our team, our customers, our partners — in the fight against racism and injustice. We are committed to building a company that fights inequality, and we stand against racism in any form. Ribbon was born from our personal experiences with racial inequity in our communities and the housing system. Every company should be speaking out and pushing to make progress against racism, injustice and violence, but for us, it’s part of why we exist.

As a Company, we will be working closely to do more internally and externally to be a part of the solution. Racial justice is all of our responsibility, and we must do more.
